August 09, 2008 Here's something a bit different... These are designed to be used as small signature pictures on forums, but of course, they can be used anywhere. I've made eight of them so far. They can all be accessed from the Avatar Main Page. I made 12 new Aerosmith avatars, including some bigger ones. These bigger avatars are designed to be skinny and tall, so that when they are used on forums they don't take up too much horizontal space and stretch the page. July 2, 2008 Woohoo! Already two comments in the shoutbox! :D Okay, so I'm easily excitable. *grins* Since I'm on a role and now understand how to manipulate php and install scripts on my server, I'm still at it. I have had a terrible problem with bots spamming my guestbook with ads for casinos and penis enhancers, so I went ahead and upgraded to one that (supposedly) is better at filtering out the spammers. The old one I was using always filled up after 50 entries, too, and I'd have to archive old entries and delete them, which was a pain and didn't allow me to build up a nice full book. Because this guestbook is new, it's empty. If some of you all would be so kind as to put a few entries in it, I'd appreciate it. :) Sign My Guestbook As you no doubt saw, I added a Shout Box to the front page so that visitors can leave messages. I have noticed it increases the load time of the page, so whether or not it stays depends on whether or not it is used. Have fun with it! Another new feature I got up and running tonight: The Mailing List. I find it a pain in the ass trying to remember to check my favorite websites for new content, and if I forget for awhile, I don't know where to start because the older updates are already gone from their front page (this is why I'm now keeping a log of all updates). For the sake of convenience, I learned a bit about php so that I could install a mailing list manager on my site. I can now send out an email to everyone who signs up for it, telling them when this site has been updated. If you want an email when I update, go to this page and sign up.

June 28, 2008 I made four new Aerosmith Wings Logos and divided the wings galleries into static and animated catagories. Check them out here. I also transferred the older updates to their own page. From now on, I'll be keeping a running log of all updates. I have no idea why I didn't think to do this when I started the website. You can access the log on this page.

June 23, 2008 I found some good videos online. The first one is available now, but the others will be put up later. Because these are large files (at 700 MB this first one is the small one), they take up a ton of my alloted server space. They're all going to be limited editions, so to speak. If you want them, grab them now because they may not be here more than a couple of weeks, and keep an eye on my updates section here for when I put up another. June 21, 2008 I finally decided how to display the giant Aerosmith animations I've been making. Yes, I said giant. People on AF1 may have already seen these, but if you have just been visiting this website, they will all be new to you. I also added some normal sized animations that I apparently never put on my website when I did them ages ago. Look for a "NEW" tag on all the animations galleries that have been updated. Also, for your convenience, I added links to all individual pages on the main animations menu page, so that you can start with any page without clicking "next" on the previous pages to get there. This will make it easier to see the new animations on an old gallery that has been updated. Main Animations Menu

May 29, 2008 I was thinking about an idea today. I've seen a lot of cool Aerosmith art. I was thinking it would be cool to add a gallery to my website to showcase the work of other artists. I floated the idea with one of my friends I know from MySpace who likes to photoshop Aerosmith pictures too. She was interested, so I've decided to do it. If you've done any sort of Aerosmith artwork (drawing, painting, Photoshopped photo, scrapbook page, decorated clothing, etc) and you'd like to participate in this, let me know. Email me with an image of it and let me know how you would like to be credited for it on my site.

May 27, 2008 Again, I've been busy, but it's mostly been busy work and clean up work. I made one new avatar. I couldn't resist making this one as I worked with my screen captures, the composition of the image was perfect. Adding graphics to it just messed it up. The Avatar Page I cleaned up the screen capture galleries. They were way below standard. I put them up on a whim, took the easy way out with a pre-fabricated gallery and then ignored them. Sorry about that. I plucked out the lame captures and created real galleries for them all. Check out the new galleries here. If there's any demand for more screen captures, I may add more. If you want to see more captures, drop me a line: here. I also reformated the galleries for my concert pictures. Again, I wimped out when I put them up a long time ago and settled for a prefabricated gallery. You can check them out here.

May 26, 2008 I added 63 animations from You Gotta Move. Check them out down at the bottom of this page. I've been working steadily on reorganizing the galleries to display better. I finally finished up all the animations galleries. Unfortunately, the new gallery format highlights the fact that many of the animations are different sizes. When I first started making them, I didn't consider that factor. I often cropped them to different sizes to make the files smaller so they would display faster. It wasn't until I'd made a couple hundred that it occurred to me that when they display next to each other, they look like shit. This is one of the reasons I procrastinated displaying them neatly in standard gallery format. Well, they're now in all in neat galleries and many of the galleries look like ragged. Resizing the animations is another project, though, so they may be that way indefinitely, while I finish the rest of my upgrades to the site.

May 23, 2008 I added ten new Aerosmith scans. Check them out here. One of those scans, I sized to properly fit your monitors as wallpaper. Although it's been photoshopped extensively (I had to stitch together six separate scans since it was an oversized book and a two page spread), I deliberately decided against doing anything artistic to it. It's a great photo and it stands on its own. It's available in the standard sizes, but also in widescreen.

May 12, 2008 Lord preserve us from broken links. I've been up all night (yes, really) upgrading the codes and finessing the organization around here. I've got a long way to go (translation - the animations galleries still look like shit and I'm only halfway through my fix on the tile galleries), but I did get lots done. The upside is things look better. The downside is there may be a an egregious number of broken links. I've said my prayers that there won't be, but I really don't think God is particularly concerned with my coding snafus. If you find broken links, please drop me an email.

May 11, 2008 I'm updating the formatting in some of the galleries to display neatly in tables. You may notice the changes and you may also notice abrupt differences in the way things display from page to page. I edit all the code by hand, so it's a long and rather tedious process (hence the reason I've procrastinated for so long) and it may take me a few days to finish it up. Thanks for your patience.
